Happiness Is Within Us

Our happiness does not depend on products or promises. It is most often already within us.

Optimism is a deeply rooted and joyful phenomenon here.

We believe that many of our problems will disappear if we sit in the sun on a terrace long enough. In spite of bad forecasts, apocalyptic visions, disturbing news and stressful routines, we do not let ourselves be shaken.

We are constantly told that happiness depends on someone else’s products, that more is always better and that only wealth can bring happiness. Yet we do not believe the promise that they will change and improve our world for us.

We have known for a long time that this is not true.

Our happiness does not depend on them.

Happiness is a personal matter and a basic human need. Most often, it is already within us. We are born with it and made to be happy, although we sometimes forget that in the restless waters of everyday life.

We rediscover it in small things: in a beautiful sunny morning, in a blossoming cherry tree, in a rainbow in the sky, in a child’s smile or in the smile of a complete stranger.

Happiness is the enthusiasm with which we help people in need without asking for anything in return. It is the optimism with which we collect money for the sick, for unemployed parents raising children alone, and the energy with which we clean forests and the seabed of things we carelessly discarded.

Those small but powerful drops of kindness turn into waterfalls of happiness and spread with incredible speed. Because happiness is contagious.

Only happy people dance. The ones who have chosen to be happy, who believe in tomorrow and who do not give up because they believe that kindness and happy people can move the whole world and make it better for all of us.

So, let’s be happy in 7 steps!
